At Lakiies, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Refund and Return Policy explains when products may be returned and how refunds are processed.

14-Day Right of Withdrawal

Customers purchasing online from Lakiies may request a return within 14 calendar days from the date the order is received, without providing a reason, subject to the conditions and legal exceptions below.

To exercise this right, you must contact us before the 14-day period expires. French and European consumer rules generally provide a 14-day withdrawal period for eligible distance purchases.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, the product must:

  • Be returned within the applicable return period
  • Be unused and in its original condition
  • Include all parts, accessories, and packaging
  • Show no signs of damage caused after delivery
  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase

You may inspect the product as you would in a physical shop. However, you may be responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the product.

Return Shipping Costs

For returns made because you changed your mind, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service and keeping proof of postage. Lakiies is not responsible for return parcels that are lost before reaching the return address.

Return costs will be covered by Lakiies when the product is confirmed to be:

  • Damaged upon arrival
  • Defective
  • Incorrect
  • Materially different from the product ordered

Under EU rules, customers are generally responsible for return postage during the 14-day withdrawal period unless the seller agrees to cover it or failed to disclose this cost before purchase.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

Contact us within 7 days of delivery when a product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Your message should include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the product
  • Photographs of the packaging and delivery label

Once the claim has been reviewed, we may offer a replacement, repair, partial refund, or full refund, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

EU consumer rules provide legal remedies for goods that are faulty or do not match their description, including repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund where appropriate.

Non-Returnable Items

Returns may not be accepted for:

  • Products damaged through misuse, improper installation, or unsafe handling
  • Products that are incomplete or missing parts
  • Personalised or custom-made products
  • Gift cards
  • Products marked as final sale, except where consumer law requires otherwise
  • Products subject to another legal exception to the right of withdrawal

This does not affect your rights when a product is defective, damaged, or incorrectly described.

Refund Process

Once your return is received, we will inspect it and notify you by email.

When the return is approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Depending on your bank, card provider, or payment service, it may take additional time for the refunded amount to appear in your account.

Refund Amount

For an eligible withdrawal, the refund may include:

  • The purchase price of the returned product
  • The original standard delivery cost, where required by law

Additional delivery charges resulting from choosing a more expensive shipping method may not be refunded.

Return shipping costs are not refunded for change-of-mind returns unless required by law or agreed by Lakiies in writing.

Refund Timing

Refunds will be processed within the legally applicable period. Where the European right of withdrawal applies, reimbursement is generally due within 14 days after the customer communicates the decision to withdraw.

Where legally permitted, we may wait until the returned product has been received or until the customer provides proof that it has been sent back.

Order Cancellations

Contact us as soon as possible to request an order cancellation.

We will try to cancel the order before it is processed or dispatched, but cancellation cannot be guaranteed once fulfilment has started.

When an order has already been shipped, you must wait for delivery and then follow the return procedure described in this policy.

Exchanges

Exchanges depend on product availability.
