Thank you for shopping with Lakiies. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, tracked, and delivered.
Stripe recommends clearly displaying eligible destinations, shipping methods, delivery times, and charges on your website.
Order Processing
Orders are generally processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been successfully confirmed.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding French public holidays.
Orders placed during weekends or public holidays will begin processing on the next business day. Processing may take longer during sales, promotional periods, product launches, or unusually high order volumes.
Shipping Destinations
Lakiies ships only to destinations available during checkout.
Customers must enter their delivery address at checkout to confirm whether shipping is currently available to their location.
We reserve the right to restrict delivery to certain countries, regions, postal codes, remote areas, or addresses that cannot be serviced by our delivery partners.
Estimated Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times are displayed during checkout whenever available.
Typical delivery estimates after dispatch are:
- France: 3–7 business days
- European Union: 5–10 business days
- Other supported destinations: 7–15 business days
These timeframes are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates. The applicable delivery estimate shown during checkout or in the order confirmation takes priority.
French and EU consumer rules require online sellers to state and respect an agreed delivery period. When no different delivery period has been agreed, goods should generally be delivered within 30 days.
Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated according to the destination, delivery method, package size, and order value.
The total shipping charge will be displayed during checkout before the customer completes payment.
Free shipping may occasionally be offered as part of a promotion. Any applicable conditions will be clearly displayed on the website.
Customers will not be charged optional delivery costs without their express agreement.
Order Confirmation
After placing an order, customers will receive an order-confirmation email at the email address provided during checkout.
Please review the confirmation carefully and contact us promptly when any information is incorrect.
The order confirmation does not necessarily mean that the order has been dispatched.
Shipping Confirmation and Tracking
When an order has been dispatched, customers will normally receive a shipping-confirmation email.
Where tracking is available, the email will contain a tracking number or tracking link.
Tracking information may take up to 48 hours to become active after the carrier receives the parcel.
Some lower-cost or local delivery services may provide limited tracking updates.
Accurate Delivery Information
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, including:
- Full recipient name
- Street address
- Building or apartment number where applicable
- Postal code
- City
- Country
- Valid telephone number
- Valid email address
Contact us immediately at contact@lakiies.store when an address needs to be corrected.
We cannot guarantee that delivery information can be changed after an order has entered processing or has been dispatched.
Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
Lakiies is not responsible for delivery failure or delay caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
When a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address, an unclaimed delivery, or a refusal unrelated to a damaged shipment, additional shipping charges may apply before the parcel can be sent again.
Any refund provided after a parcel is returned will be handled according to our Refund and Return Policy and applicable consumer law.
Delivery Attempts and Collection Points
Delivery partners may:
- Attempt delivery at the provided address
- Leave the parcel in a safe location
- Deliver it to a neighbour
- Redirect it to a collection point
- Request that the customer schedule another delivery attempt
Customers are responsible for following the carrier’s tracking updates and collecting parcels within the stated collection period.
Delivery Delays
Delays may occur because of circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:
- Severe weather
- Public holidays
- Carrier disruptions
- Customs procedures
- Strikes
- Transport interruptions
- Incorrect delivery information
- unusually high seasonal demand
- Government restrictions or emergencies
Contact us when an order has not arrived within the estimated delivery period. We will review the available tracking information and assist with the carrier investigation.
When an agreed delivery deadline is missed, applicable French and EU consumer rules may allow the customer to provide an additional reasonable deadline and cancel the purchase when delivery still does not occur.
Lost Packages
Contact us at contact@lakiies.store when tracking has not updated for an unusual period or when the parcel appears to have been lost.
Please provide:
- Your full name
- Order number
- Delivery address
- Tracking number
- A brief description of the issue
We may open an investigation with the delivery partner before approving a replacement or refund.
Customers must cooperate with reasonable requests for information required by the carrier.
Orders Marked as Delivered
When tracking shows that an order has been delivered but it cannot be located, please:
- Check the delivery location and surrounding safe places.
- Ask household members, neighbours, reception staff, or building management.
- Check whether the parcel was redirected to a collection point.
- Contact the delivery carrier.
- Contact Lakiies if the parcel still cannot be found.
Report the issue as soon as possible so that an investigation can be started.
Damaged Packages
Inspect the package and product promptly after delivery.
When an order arrives damaged, contact us within 7 calendar days and provide:
- Your order number
- Clear photographs of the product
- Photographs of the external packaging
- Photographs of the shipping label
- A description of the damage
Keep the product and all original packaging until we confirm that they are no longer required for the investigation.
Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a replacement, refund, partial refund, or another appropriate solution.
Incorrect or Missing Products
Contact us promptly when:
- The wrong product was delivered
- Part of the order is missing
- The quantity is incorrect
- An accessory or component is missing
Please provide your order number and clear photographs of everything received.
International Customs and Import Charges
Orders delivered outside France may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges, or local handling fees.
Unless expressly stated otherwise during checkout, these charges are not included in the product or shipping price and are the customer’s responsibility.
Lakiies does not control these charges and cannot predict their exact amount.
Customers should contact their local customs authority for further information before placing an international order.
Refused Deliveries
When a customer refuses a delivery without a valid reason relating to damage, defect, or an incorrect product, the parcel may be returned to us.
Any refund will be assessed after the parcel is received and inspected. Return transportation or other costs may be deducted only where permitted by applicable law and disclosed to the customer.
Order Cancellations
Contact us as soon as possible at contact@lakiies.store to request cancellation.
We will attempt to cancel the order before dispatch, but cancellation cannot be guaranteed after fulfilment has begun.
Once an order has been dispatched, the customer must follow the return procedure described in our Refund and Return Policy.
